Café Cult Gourmet Kaffees werden nach wie vor traditionell langsam bei niedrigen Temperaturen in dem gasbefeuerten Trommelröster geröstet. Von der industriellen Schockröstung nehmen sie bewusst Abstand. Jede Sorte erfordert einen unterschiedlichen Röstgrad. Daher werden diese Kaffees immer noch „von Hand“ geröstet. Nach der Röstung werden die Kaffees schnell und schonend mit kalter Frischluft abgekühlt. Sie verzichten auf die Kühlung mit Wasser, da hierdurch die Haltbarkeit des Kaffees negativ beeinflusst wird. Damit sind alle Rahmenbedingungen geschaffen, die zu einer der besten Qualitäten auf dem Weltmarkt führen.
