Insiders claim that the band of robbers from the fairy tale “The Bremen Town Musicians” were just sharing a delicious smoked Bremen Knüppel when the brave four drove them out of their house. Now they themselves had the great fortune to fill their bellies to their hearts’ content with this rustic delicacy.
The four always had a piece of Bremer Knüppel on their table for visitors, too. No wonder, since this heartily seasoned Mettwurst is made according to time-honored Bremen recipes in the Söge and Knochenhauerstraße neighborhoods from pure pork and fine spices.
Meanwhile, the Bremer Knüppel enjoys great popularity not only in our Hanseatic city. As a specialty from Bremen, this delicious Mettwurst is often given as a gift to friends, coworkers, and family members living abroad.
Gently smoked over beech wood, this traditional specialty acquires its incomparable flavor. Whether on the coast or inland, the Bremer Knüppel is arguably the most delicious gift for everyone.
